New Year’s Eve seems right around the corner, and it’s not a secret that the holiday season is vastly associated with red lips! So here are my 5 favorite red lipsticks (all matte, of course – because who has time to constantly check up on a glossy and slippery red lip?), in no particular order!

× MAC – Russian Red If you love the classic and beloved Ruby Woo but you can’t stand how dry it feels, you should definitely try Russian Red. These two look identical!

× MAC – Chili This is a beautiful brick red, perfect for autumn/winter, and for when you want a red-but-not-too-red-lip!

× Maybelline – Divine Wine Maybelline’s mattes are super creamy and comfortable! Divine Wine, as the name suggests, is a deep wine red (very similar to MAC’s Diva).

× Radiant – Matte Lasting Lip Color 22 It’s one of the most beautiful shades of red, and it looks great both on fair and darker skintones! The formula of these lipsticks is also extremely comfortable as soon as it dries matte (which takes just a minute more than usual liquid lipsticks).

× Sephora – Cream Lip Stain 03 This one has a little more pink in it, but to me it still falls under the “red” category, especially if you pair it with a red lipliner. (It’s actually the one I’m wearing in the photo above!)

Ήρθε η περίοδος των γιορτών, που όπως είναι γνωστό είναι ταυτισμένη με τα κόκκινα χείλη! Αυτά λοιπόν είναι τα 5 αγαπημένα μου κραγιόν (όλα είναι matte φυσικά – γιατί ποιά έχει χρόνο να τσεκάρει συνέχεια το κραγιόν της) χωρίς συγκεκριμένη σειρά!

× MAC – Russian Red Αν σου αρέσει το Ruby Woo αλλά δεν μπορείς να αντέξεις το πόσο ξηρά κάνει τα χείλη σου, πρέπει οπωσδήποτε να δοκιμάσεις το Russian Red. Είναι ολόϊδια!

× MAC – Chili Είναι ένα κεραμιδί, τέλειο για φθινόπωρο/ χειμώνα, και για όταν θέλεις να βάλεις ένα κόκκινο-αλλά-όχι-πάρα-πολύ-κόκκινο-κραγιόν!

× Maybelline – Divine Wine Τα ματ της Maybelline είναι από τα πιο άνετα και κρεμώδη που έχω δοκιμάσει! Το Divine Wine, όπως λέει και το όνομα, είναι ένα βαθύ κόκκινο του κρασιού (που μοιάζει πολύ με το Diva της MAC).

× Radiant – Matte Lasting Lip Color 22 Αυτή είναι μια από τις πιο όμορφες αποχρώσεις του κόκκινου, και ταιριάζει τρομερά και σε λευκές αλλά και πιο σκούρες επιδερμίδες! Όταν στεγνώνουν matte τα κραγιόν της Radiant είναι πάρα πολύ άνετα στα χείλη (αρκεί να περιμένεις ένα λεπτό παραπάνω σε σχέση με άλλα υγρά κραγιόν).

× Sephora – Cream Lip Stain 03 Το συγκεκριμένο, αν και έχει λίγο ροζ μέσα του, κατά την γνώμη μου μπαίνει στην κατηγορία με τα κόκκινα, ειδικά αν το συνδυάσεις με κόκκινο μολύβι. (Είναι αυτό που φοράω στην φωτογραφία από πάνω!)
